Free Agents: Players not currently on a franchise roster are considered free agents. A free agent can be acquired by submitting for that player either via E-mail or Phone call. Transactions: This year we are keeping the"waiver wire" system for free agent pickups. This means basically if two or more teams put in for the same player on the same day, the team with the poorest point total gets the player, rather than simply the first team to claim him. In the event two teams with identical point totals make a claim on the same player, the team with the poorer W-L record is awarded the player. If a tie remains, the player is awarded to the team who has allowed the most points. Again, this only applies if more than one team puts in for a player on a given day. Pickups are available Tuesday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, any claims made after 8:00 PM will be considered as the next day's business. If you have any questions about the new system, bring them to draft night to discuss. Trades: To finalize a trade one owner must notify the commissioner via E-mail or phone. Trades should be made in the best interest of the league, The commissioner has the right to void any trade. All trades and free agent pickups will be charged $1 dollar with the first 7 being free. Trade deadline will be November 20. If a player is placed on IR that player may be dropped and another picked up for free. Activation Req: 7 players and 1 defense are required for legal activation you may either have: 1
QB, 3 RB, 2 WR, 1 K, and 1 Def or Weekly
Activation: Each week owners must submit by E-mail or Phone No Later
than 9PM Thursday. After this than changes can be made to your roster
till Sunday at 10:00AM ( There should be enough ways available to submit
lineups, but if you cannot for some reason, your last weeks roster will
be submitted and changes can be made till Sunday at 10:00AM, But if
a pattern starts happening where you have not turned your roster in
on time for 2 weeks in a row then on the 3rd week if your roster is
late you can not make changes to it.) Tie Breaker: 1) Team Defense allowing the fewest points. 2) Team Defense allowing the fewest yards 3) Team Kicker with the longest field goal
4) Coin Flip |
|
Playoffs: 8 Teams will make the playoffs, the top 3 division winners advance to the playoffs then the 5 teams with the highest point total will go to the playoffs. If any of these 5 teams are tied in total points a coin flip will determine your playoff opponent. If the 5th highest point team is tied with the 6th highest point team then the team who scored the most point in head to head competition will go to the playoffs. |
